    16 minutes till work

    16 minutes till work
    i've vowed a postive attitude
i will polish copper counter tops with gusto
    count the bank attentively
smile at customers with genuine warmth
bid hello to my fellow workers honestly with a light heart

i'd have to do it anyways might as well do it right

You have a great style in all your poems and you touch the nitty gritty of life.....all your poems.....the ones I read so far.....could be newsworthy on the ten o'clodk news. Bet, you would make a good journalist........

    How true, smiles Vincent

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
