    Poem Commentary

Some of the biggest hearts you can ever know comes out of the smallest bodies....

    5 Feet Tall

    5 Feet Tall
    By Shericka Murphy

He said she got brown skin....
    Her body....Thin
A mind that you can loose your mind in
    And then...the love begins

He said she got hair like the night....
    Her grip....Tight
A figure so smokin' it'll get you high as a kite
    And then...She's outta site

He says she got eyes like a storm....
    Her touch....warm
    Great movement and great form
And her thoughts get around you...and swarm

He says she got tears that are sweet....
    Her build....Petite
It's her soul he wants to greet
And she keeps her body...on her feet

He say she got lips like candy....
    A kiss....Thats handy
He even said that it was dandy
    And then he sipped...my brandy

He told me that she got a smile like the sun....
    His frowning....Done
    And then the room spun
    And her love...weighed a ton

And then he mentioned that she was just 5 feet tall....
    5 feet....And thats all
    And if I can recall...
I've never had far to fall....

    LOL.....

this is an interesting write. I like the flow and the rhythm to it. It also proves that big things often come in small packages lol :)

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
