    A birthday tragedy

Dads not here for my birthday
    It's all not the same
    Spent the last few years
    Going insane

    Sat alone in my room
    Cried the whole time
    It's a birthday tragedy
Without the people i love here

The person I love with all my heart
Is going away to far to walk
    Everyones too busy
    Schools coming to an end

Why couldnt i just have one friend
    That maybe cared
This years going to be different
    I'll smile and laugh
    On my own free will

This year im going to make memories
    Ones that last
    Friends who hear my pleads
    And recognizes that I bleed

    I don't crave attention
    I just want you here
    Daddy your the main part
The one who holds my heart

I could care less about the others
    What bothers me the most
Is what about me and mother?
I know this job is so very important

    But couldn't you please
Just visit me one last time
    I know you really can't
But i'll have to move on
    It's just going to be
    A birthday tragedy

Dont cry, dont weep, Some promises are hard to keep. He holds you in the only place that matters, his heart, when he hears you saddened, he falls apart... Daddy's do this, but your still his every joy, he thought you knew this, no reason to be coy. Just reading this, I know you love him very much, and here's my birthday wishes, with a poetic touch. He may not always show up, he may even forget. But he'll do everything he can to watch you grow up, and he knows this is the only chance he gets. =) hope you get around to feeling better. Its not my best work but it's for you! Happy belated! =)

apperntly your father has pased on - being a father of three daughters I understand your pain- I was a firefighter for 28 years and that's the only thing that bothered me the most about the joib - maybe being killed and my daughtersnot having a dad- I am truley sorry

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
