    i was going through a hard time when i wrote this....

    A Dare to the World

     I understand your
    life is stressful
    I've been down a road
    like it with a
    different stress
    we have our own ways
    of reliving it
    alcohol, nicotine, drugs
    for you

    i let my stress out
    with the flowing
    of my blood of thoughts
    I've chosen the cleaner
    one for you

    can't you do the same for me
    i do not wish to
    bury you with
    my good for nothing mother
    for cancer will take her

    you always make me smile
    so i can never stay mad
    at you
    your voice makes me
    grin
    so long after we've talked

    i still find it hard for me to be mad
    I love you with all
    my heart so
    come on world try and tear us apart
