    A LITTLE SHADOW

    Was it a trick of the light,
    Some one there but not,
    Standing there watching me,
    A second look, Second sight,
    Not Quite in the light, Or out,
    But there just the same,
    Faint whispers in the breeze,
    Voices not here, Voices lost never heard,
    She stands in shadow, Watching, Waiting,
    Feeling her standing behind me,
    Never seen, Not really here,
    A vision         lost in the haze.....

    Not often do I read something that causes heart ache the way this poem did. I lost my mom August of last year and while reading this she was all I could think of. This is a truly wonderful peice of work!

    In the volley of "To be, or not to be," you came back to aver, "it is." But, redefined. So accurate of most perceptions; they exist in open need of redefining.

    some would call her the shadow people- i call her your higher concience.....perfect way to express the feeling that tells you.....you are not alone in this.
