A Million Miles to Home

Sally forth down this winding road
To where no one can tell
It's taken you years to lighten your load
As you've traveled through heaven and hell
Walking carefully to where the road runs straight
You've taken your precious time
Not knowing or caring what promise awaits
At the top of this mountain you climb

Across endless oceans and shallow streams
To places far and wide
You've taken this road to challenge your dreams
Using only your heart as your guide
For the world is a vast place indeed my friend
And despite what you've been told
At your inevitable journeys end
You watched your dreams unfold

This was a great write girl... A masterful cadence of rhythm and rhyme, a story to hence, your thoughts did unwind... T'was a beautiful journey, to get to the end, my eyes well did see, a great read again... Good stuff....

now this is just amazing. You really grip the reader with gentle words and let us know exactly where were going. Again a perfect 10
