    a song bird fate

     oh you pretty song bird
    they say if you are ever to spread your wings
    the time is now
    fly away from past mistakes of immaturity
    and into the waterfall for a new source
    coming upon angelic grace
    if a storm is what takes you there
    then take that chance to be
    keeping fresh continuity
    a recipe of savory chords

    wrapped so neatly in perfect splendor
    a heart inside a glass globe
    like satin spinnings woven true
    spotted only from a bird's eye view

    saintly pulses bouncing along miles
    carefully placed beneath your feathers
    quickening passion past the sparks
    to light your perches in every dark
    corner
    it will spring there
    even after you're gone
    victorious music
    drowning pendulums
    of dust
    and dismay
    be on your way now
    for lil' song birds mustn't stay...too long

    What a creative metaphor for the need to keep moving to stay fresh and growing throughout life. There is a transcendant message here to those who can discern it.
