    A windy Waltz

Blue clouds float in the sky.
    The white sky accepts this.
    Tonight belongs to the darkness
as the river runs upside down
    and backwards.
    The wind does not blow,
    but rather
takes the leaves with it as it goes.
    Tonight,
    when you are sleeping,
the winds secrets will be exposed.
It will tell the truth about the storms,
when all it wants to do is
    dance with the flowers
    and the trees.
    An invisible dance
    that no one will notice
    because they are too busy.
    Too busy to notice
    the rose bush
    taken by the wind's hand
    and spun around
    and then gently dipped.
    It's strange how the trees
    and the bushes
    and the flowers
    all share the same rhythm.
    All share the same lover.
    All eagerly await,
    without jealousy.

Of what I've read, this piece really speaks to me. Takes one through a huge garden and silently follow the currents of the night breeze. Excellent in word and perspective!

umm were you admiring the earths beauty- when you realized how we often miss out on it's unspoken language.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
