"A Wish To The Wind"

"A Wish To The Wind"

To ponder

 ones possibilities…

To be alert to ones flaws…

Misfortunes seeming to fade towards black…

A feeling of arrival and never turning back…

Seems to float as a feather…

A wish to the wind returned…

Warm is the softness…

Knowing one is loved…

Feels as to dream with open eyes…

Not as a guess or want or need…

Spring peels this mans cocoon…

I shine as the Sun in brilliance…

The key…

To love oneself with a feverish soul…

To fill another’s void…

To fill all space with love…

Winter slows life to seek comfort…

Teaches patience to this mans being…

Blooming in the heart…

A deeper knowledge of self love…

This man now knows…

The world moves for love…

It kneels before it…

In awe…

Stephenmichael…

I kneel in awe…With love…
As a wish returns on the wind…

I now understand  filling another’s void and its power…

Well done my friend, you have found a place inside not found before or visited in a while. Man is happiest when he is growing, your pen moves across the page as a swan. Be well k

This is an amazing write. "Knowing one is loved....Feels as a dream with open eyes...Not as a guess or want or need." There is profound truth and beauty in those words alone, but the entire poem speaks of deep understanding...lovely!

A very wonderful and appreciated comment...Thank you for seeing this...Stephen

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
