Acceptance

Acceptance

floating, lightly through the sky,
carelessly, fluttering butterfly

I set you free
So I could see
how long it would be
til you came back to me

the world was so big
far before your eyes
but you only went toward
the beauty of the skies

we have came to accept it
and our lives were unfurled
but the life you were searching
was out of this world
