    Accordingly

    Healthy pores
    Tidy nails
    Steady pay
    Life on rails
    Rainy day
    Prozac cure
    Brand new car
    Old age lure

    Wicked mirror
    On the wall
    Offspring strangers
    Down the hall
    From 8 to 5
    Whatever I do
    Trying to catch
    The avian flu

    On my perch
    Penthouse hell
    Alcohol breakfast
    Buy and sell
    Lamborghini
    As I abscond
    Escaping in a car crash
    Bond, James Bond

    Blood transfusion
    Shrinks look at my head
    A strong longing
    To be declared dead
    Sitting there
    Against the asylum window
    I’m not insane
    I just happen to know

    “Sarah honey
I won’t be home for dinner
    I’m going away for awhile
    To fix something inner
    But you have fun
    With your quantum leaps
    I’m just the message
    After the beep"

I love how you threw the whole James Bond into this one, a clever yet witty write.

Jesus! I laughed so hard at the last stanza that I cried. Okay double-o 6 and a half... Don't get your fingers burnt, burning the candle at both ends. I love this poem!

A really great "teen angst" poem. Keep on writing, you show very good observations about life.

Superbly crafted poem with clear insight as to how we are being conditioned & the likely outcome. Excellent!!

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
