©2010 Silence(The rarest fruit)
You drove that night
goin to the store for my trip
as I spoke of my friend and his plight
you listened quietly and didnt skip me.
I went on about how he was sick
and how unfair they were to him
in your silence I found it to be a trick
and my sight of things had grown dim.
I want to live and love the same as you all
I need it so badly sometimes I'm blind
I cant afford to get hurt again falling
you held your peace, you were so kind.
You didnt judge or call me dumb
and heard out what I had to say
you didnt say "watch whats coming"
still you showed me I was betrayed.
