    Poem Commentary

    this is part 2 to desperate hours, I have tried to write both of these poems/lyrics from a different point of view, just to see if i could, a womens view,  also i don't like country music yet the poem/lyrics of crescent moon was my first atempt at that

    AFTER HOURS

     In the silence of an echo,
    near the middle of it's eye,
    Where all is still and quiet,
    Can you scream with all your might,

    You never lost what you had,
    Because you never had what you lost,
    It slipped through your hands,
    And there is no one to listen,

    In the night you listen,
    As the shadows reach out to you,
    Wind whispers about the curtains, in the breeze,
    It says your all alone, calls out your name,

    Your heart hurts so bad,
    you want to cry, But you can't,
    You tell yourself another lie,  Hope it works,
    You know it won't, it never does,

    Torn between the sheets,
    Of an ordinary life,
    Torn between the lies,
    Without knowing the truth,
    Or the reason why............

    Hello-What a gripping read! The poem flows smoothly but has a sort of an edge from the intensity! Very nice!
