Poem Commentary

Just thinking about what it would be like if a guy left you and you were sad even if you knew he was no good. Morbid right? I feel bad for those of you who can relate to this poem.

Aftermath

You left.

Quickly and without a goodbye
because when you saw her
I fled from your mind.

The tears I sobbed
For you.
Over you.
About you.
Are dried.

But the tracks remain
Much like the tracks you left on my heart.

And I'm left to wonder...

Have you moved on?
Leaving another girl sobbing?

In the aftermath of your presence.
