Alone

Alone

Days turned into seasons and then years

Alone

Fall trees floated away in the breeze.

Winter Snow cold as ice chilled my bones

Spring trees Bloomed with their sweet nectar

And summer sun shone on my Birthday

 But you were not here

Alone

All alone

Why have you left me to die and not know?

Alone

Why were you not there?

Why were you never there?

Alone

This deep hole in my chest

Will it ever go away?

Alone

I know only one half of myself

But not the other part it’s slowly decays

Alone

Why Do I even bother?

No call

No write

Alone

Why do I have to try so hard?

To  then be stabbed in the heart again

Why can’t you try too?

Alone

Are you to busy?

Are you to sad?

What’s with you?

Dad

Alone

Why can’t you think of me?

And make me laugh

Were father and daughter

Isn’t the sad

Why are you so insensitive to feeling?

Are you numb?

Alone

Why don’t you visit me at home?

Why do you want to be alone?

In your log cabin out in the wood

In your log cabin of hard wood

In you log cabin all alone

Why can’t you call on your phone?

You try so hard to build your house

But what about family?

Did the Thought ever arouse?

Did it ever make you think?

Are you too alone?

so much of you is shown in this poem...its achingly sad...i like the reflection at the end when you step away from your pain to look at probably what he's going through...

Watch your grammar and spelling. Each time when you emphasize 'alone' how about a space before and after it. (just a suggestion) You did a good job at capturing pure raw feelings that are deeply rooted with pain. Keep writing it is definitely a release and try sending him some of your writings. Who knows it may touch his heart.

No that wouldn't help he not in a stable set of mind If he saw this poem he would probably kill himself that's what my mom said when I read this to her. Where are the grammar errors so I can fix them. thanks for the comment I have been trying to move my poetry in a different direction but someone always is in pain or getting hurt. Thanks for the comment : )
