    An Ode to Dairy
    There is no greater joy
    For me or my fellow man
    Than that stollen abreast
    Of the steers greatest friends.
    Cheddar, feta, blue,
    Havarti, bell, or Swiss;
    Nothing is quite as pure as cheese
    Until she goes amiss.
    A tightness in my tummy.
    Abdomen gone awry.
    I ate the forbiden fruits . . .
    Of a lactose intolerant guy.
    Lactose oh lactose
    Why for art tho diary?
    Digesting you leaves me
    Feeling quite airy.
    Oh how lovely a craft
    A true work of art!
    Milk spoilt just right;
    Until ... I have to fart.
    For my Gouda does not,
    She does not feel good.
    But cheese; oh my cheese
    You are the forbiden food.
    For that foul dairy air -
    Escapest my poor derriere.

    This one puts a smile on my heart, it was light, fun, and well written. Thought provoking in the best kind of way

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
