Are You In The Mirror?
Is it you I am?
Looking into the mirror
I interogate the suspect.
Isee - myself.
"You think you know me?"
"That you own who I am?"
How rediculous the thought
In the mirror
I turn away from myself.
Bu then, I whirl around &
Remind myself
That I can change,
"I can; I swear I can!"
"I can
Re-create what I appear to be."
But looking into the
Imposter's eyes
I run that image through
The recorded memories I own &
I find him a fraud.
He shakes in fear
Of being found out
Then he shaves, combs his hair
Puts on another mask
And disapears into himself; then
Turns out the light
And leaves the room.
