Masks with tears
Show their years,
As they take their place
On anothers face.
See how they hide
So eager to confide,
In a mask made for pain
That they think keeps them sane.
Get lost in your thoughts
As that mask rots,
Bound to fall
And show your all.
Keep your finger on trigger
For there will always be someone bigger,
That will put you in your Place
With out leaving a trace.
That gun in your hand
Will be lost in the sand,
When your time has come
And your whole body is numb.
Soon your mask falls off and reveals
All of your lost ideas,
Your hopes fears and scars
As your last sight will be the stars.
Up in space you wish to be
A new home in which to flee,
Better there on the moon
Than to be locked up here like a loon.
Lights fading quick
As the clock begins to click,
The last sound you hear is a tone
That lets you know your all alone.

Another one in the favorites. I like the rhyming, which is not typical of you. This work sums up one of the main ideas of life so artistically. It causes one to ponder the deep meaning of it, leaves us tinkering with the thought in our heads. ~Abys

Yu can be alone in a room full of people . You have to believe in yourself and then the light starts to shine . You are very talented my friend and i will read more of your work Marie

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
