    Awakening

    I'm not strong enough to love you.
    I'm not strong enough to care.
    I'm not strong enough to hold you.
    I've only strength for tears.
    You tore off all my armor.
    You knocked down all my walls.
    You broke through every barrier
    and then you let me fall.
    Where were you when I needed you?
    Where were you when I cried?
    Where were you when I sat alone
    hurting from your lies?
    My life has slowly passed me by;
    my days and then my nights.
    I've wasted so much precious time.
    Goodbye. I see the lights.

    So sad, I can feel the tears filling a river flowing from the very depths of your heart and soul. Pure emotion in it's raw brutal form, dripping from your pen as each word flows upon the page. a can feel the pain and agony and the torment of the silence as the shadows fill the eve of the night. I love the ending as your heart awakens to the truth of light and says goodbye to the demon of the night. So many women run right back to an ass like that, you are truely stronger than you know! So many people would rather live in an illusion of lies than face the cold reality of truth... Purity of the soul, journey well!!! Angel
