     I see you there.... in the distance

    I wish I can come over to you
    Bend down and hug you
    Lay a soft kiss on your hand
    Whisper a gentle word in your ear

    I wish I could take all those long years away,
    All the suffering.... and
    All the pain.

    With tears in my eyes
    I turn my back and walk away
