    Behind the Smile.

    Everyday she wakes
    She looks in the mirror,
She is disgusted by what she sees.
She cannot see what he loves.

She hides everything behind makeup and a smile.
Only he knows what she feels.
He knows whats behind the smile.
She still cannot see what he loves.

Everyday he calls her just to tell her that he loves her.
He promises to always be there.
Everyday she cries for she cannot show him how much she cares.
She still cannot see what he loves.

I agree with kenparme. It went to a nine for me. Good job. TS

I tried to give this a nine but it wouldn't do it. I call this an emotionally active read-it holds me the whole way through--Very good.

this one was very well thought out. very well worded and written.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
