    Ripped from the pages of my journal "July 92"

    Better Off.....Left Alone

    You took us from our country

    Only to be told we’re not human


    You forced us to learn your ways

    Only to be told we’re unable


    You show’d us how to hate one another for no reason

    Only later to be called animals


    To the best of my knowledge

    We were better off......left alone
