    Bitter Pill

No matter how bad things are I can make ‘em worse,

your heart will ache ‘till you’ll want it to burst,

every day like a thousand year curse,

I’ll leave you wishing I’d just killed you first.

You’ll come to believe everything is your fault,

lonely nights spent with two recurring thoughts,

never knowing peace, no matter how hard you've fought,

I’ve got you locked up tight inside my vault.

    I break your will,

Destroying lives with ease the devil envies my skill,

that hole in your heart never will never fill,

you’ll come to see my love is a bitter pill.

I’ll bleed you dry of all your wealth,

a loosing hand at life is what you’re dealt,

leave you doubting every thing about yourself,

you’re just another trophy on my overflowing shelf.

Staring you right in your eye,

you’re wondering if every word was a lie,

left you crying for answers, wanting to know why,

I wouldn’t even tell you goodbye.

I broke your weak ass will,

I got Satan envying my skill,

the hole in your heart will never fill,

yeah my love is a bitter pill.

Ha ha You can't help but admire a man that knows how to appreciate his abilities. You've got a real gift for magnifying the tangential aspects of the psyche, K, and a greater gift for making it entertaining as hell : D

Well thank you so much for such a resounding review, actually they are not my abilities of which I wrote, those skills go to the ex. I was just looking for a means of expressing what it was like being one of her victims.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
