Black Child

Black Child

Born to US not to one but TWO.
Certainly out of love and a spirituality that's new.
A blessing from God now and forever you'll be.
Special in OUR eyes and belonging to WE.
Later in life go on and take your prize.
Become a strong black man or woman "thru child's eyes."
Black child born in wordly confusion.
Never leave your place forsaking the union.
A future holds a place for all your accomplishments and praises.
Black child, yes, OUR pride and a pleasure to be raising.
AMEN
