Blue Rose
I have a rose for you
Its soft petals are true blue
The rose stands alone
The stem is its strength
It has all that it needs
Bearing the weight of the flower
Billowing winds can not make it cower
Thorns protecting it from harm
Its roots steadfast
Leaves adding to its beauty
The petals in the middle hold the heart
Tender petals outside keep it from falling apart
This rose is for you
It is like our love
Not waning, nor falter
I have seen this rose so many times
When we are together this rose our love mimes
