Like a girl spinning in a field of flowers,
I get lost in you
Like a heart needs a beat to reveal its power,
I need you
When the wind takes a hold and blows me through pain,
I look to you
So when I wake up to a cloudy day,
Bring on the rain
Like a teardrop falls on a lonely night,
I fall into you
Like a bird leaves the nest when the time is right,
I wait for you
When I feel like I am forever slein,
I remember you
So when I'm dancing in a world of gray,
Bring on the rain
Like a cowboy sees nothing but a clear blue sky
I see you
Like a bride has a groom with hands held tight,
I have you
When I look at stars and smile all night
I smile to you
So when I can't remember who I am today
