    Bringing About Delicious Amounts of Affliction and Fire

    quit talking about the thunder.
    it's emotional status is carving your hunger.
    your starving for malnutrition
    yet, your craving for a better world.

    frogs croak your sad tale to the children of the rain,
    while you sit there in silence floating on your cloud of distain.

    No...please...do tell...
    tell us all your awful life story.
    beg and plead for your own personal attention,
    while you soul burns in love's tight grip.

    cocaine and rum burn your throat while the nicotine trails along your brain.
    make the pain stop, make it bleed out your system...
    and now sleep off the high of your life.

    I can really relate to this poem since i was once there. wanting a change with the emotions i feel deep inside. I am lost in yesterdays devotion hidding my foolish pride "addiction" Comes with each step in life
