    BUTTERFLIES

     Butterflies fly in the sky, bringing joy and beauty to all those watching nearby.

    Butterflies grow from a cocoon leaving a caterpillar in a gossamer womb.

    Butterflies alight here and there. Butterflies are everywhere.

    I feel like the butterfly emerging from the cocoon.

    I am ready not a moment too late or too soon.

    I am ready to share who I am with the world.

    Share my experiences with any and all. Ready to heed a poet's call.

    I don't have to worry if I will freefall.

    I have wings that will catch me and carry me to heights no one can see. 

    I am out of sight but not out of mind.

    My words will live on through time in verse and rhyme.

    I will continue to grow more beautiful through the lessons I learn and the passage of time.

    i loved the metaphoric way the butterfly developed. comparing yourself to a butterfly was a visual delicacy to read. great job
