    Poem Commentary

    i have many versions of this poem...but i was unable to find them so i tried to remeber what the basic idea was and this is what i got

    Can't Rot

     a lonely soul
    walks on an empty street
    all is silent and nothing beats
    not even the sound of my feet
    won't no one come
    won't no one save me
    i don't want this
    cold dark night
    to engulf my lonely soul

    am i here
    am i alive
    can't you see my
    I'm right here
    am i loved
    won't someone come
    don't leave me here
    i can't rot
    i can't be the only one here

    how long have i been here
    how long will
    i rot here
    won't you save me
    don't you see me
    why can't you
    save me please come
    i don't want to
    sit here ant rot
    let me free

    am i here
    am i alive
    can't you see me
    I'm rotting away
    am i loved
    won't someone come
    don't leave me here
    i can't rot
    i can't be the only one here

    am i alone

    sitting here and rotting
    rotting alone

    am i here
