Cape Elizabeth
The air damp and icy cold went right through to the boneSnow lay deep just inshore from where waves came to shore
The foghorn cried out in alarm a deep rusty bellowing tone
Ice rimed the weathered rock past where the white caps pour
Winter cold and dim the lobster shack closed for the season
Bells on the buoy not quite frozen added to the woeful din
Winter cold icy damp and frozen is a good enough reason
Though I believe that closing the lobster shack is a sin
