    Poem Commentary

    I have been blessed to have experience a love, that is not bound. Having the awareness to understand and recognize a rare phenomenon. Where love shows it can not be bound, for it is not subject to the laws of science, nor can it be measured. When someone you love, calls out your name, being happy or sad and you hear your name in the wind, then you are truly loved.

     a day, much like today
    her voice in the wind

    a presence, through absent
    her voice in the wind 

    insanity lost, for logic won
    her voice in  the wind

    yet another, much like today
    her voice in the wind

    love hears, as distance transcends
    her voice in the wind

    known voices, a gift not shared
    her voice in the wind 

    science be bound, love knows such
    her voice in the wind

    An absolutely beautiful work with accompanying commentary. Very well written .. the wind transcends her voice carrying this great message of love only you can hear .. misunderstood by science. A bit similar to Hendrix's song "the Wind Cries Mary".

    This is a very pretty poem. It is almost as if you are saying you can still hear her lovely voice in the echos of the wind. Good write

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
