    so close to being each other-
    the one.

    reflections deceive.
    we remain the same,
    even thru changes.

    age and pain.

    so far from being together.
    resisting kisses
    is the only promise
    worth keeping,
    and only because
    it gets easier-
    eventually, i'm sure.
