    Poem Commentary

    This was the challenge that I issued forth for the 25th of June.  The challenge was haybales.

    Conspiracy

    Majestic and massive
    They tower
    Over the beaten path walked
    For generations
    By one man
    His son
    And soon his grandson

    A conspiracy they stand
    At attention
    To salute the commander and chief
    Who bids
    On their freedom
    Quite cheaply
    Jus as his predecessors before him

    i used to haul hay for my Dad and hated every minute of it because of an extreme hay fever. But there the stacks of hay would stand and gaze down at me, an ant among the giant stacks. My Dad was the commander and chief, and not always easy to live with, but I got through it. Thanks for the write and the memory.

    heart felt write for the true patriots as soldiers..... Is there any other way to serve the nation other than this proud job?... very good read...a 50 from me......
