    Poem Commentary

    A coming age, A new day, A better way

     There is only one God with many names
    if the words are of love, the moral is the same
    Religion isn't a fire and faith is not a weapon
    But rather they are stars, guides, and beacons.

    Wage a crusade at home and in the middle east
    blood on the sand to feed the ravenous beast
    become an enemy to our people, homefront jihad
    but what has really changed? It's a devious facade.

    Feel it coming like some western mistral wind
    an unheard voice divine, core of  all human kin
    it whispers things we don't care much to hear
    because change is it intention, it is ever near.

    Enlightement and ancient knowledge so unbound
    rediscovery of what was lost shall soon be found
    unfolding little by little each beautiful new day
    realization of the power within, lighting the way.

    The "end" begins with breaking barriers of belief
    learning to truly love and stop this needless grief
    finally stopping ceaseless theft of the mother earth
    taking only when needed from our planet of birth.

    We've grown too fat, funneling the umbilical cord
    we are the one's who will die from all the hoarding
    She will surely thrive, we are but ants on Life's tree
    Reading the writing doesn't mean that we believe.

    Dont let this ignorance keep us from caring
    we are all different or at least those with daring
    break the boundaries and tear down these walls
    regret is unnecessary if we heed the spirit's call.

    Wow, you just blew me away with this poem! I think this is the best one yet I've read from you.Such a strong message of Love through out the entire piece. Nice job!
