    Cowboy entre'e

A cowboy came into the restaurant last night,
Which isn't unusual in these parts...
He wore a big hat which he refused to remove
(I didn't mind this slight breach of etiquette)
and I was smitten right from the start.

His legs were long, and his wranglers, oh my!
It took sheer force of will to avert my eyes
I observed him quite well under half-closed lids

Gulped my coffee (burnt my mouth!)
    Wishing I were those ribs
he tore at and man handled
    with those big calloused hands

To be an entre'e on his plate, oh how grand!!

sk, I love your frankness here, and how affixed you are to the cowboy. The flirtatious way you describe the theme is refreshing! ginga

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
