Creator's Image and Likeness

Why do we live in a world that sees people as objects? Why does this world see people as a means to an end, a tool, something to use and then discard? A world that says, I 'd like to toss that, hit that, phuck that, suck that, lick that, bone that? She is a hot piece of ass. I like that chorizo and the huevos hanging from it.

None of these descriptions or phrases shows our true selves.....

I am just a man.
I am imperfect and flawed.
Yet, I am made in the Creator's image and likeness.
In His image and likeness I am made.

Not perfect, for I am just a man imperfect and flawed.
I make mistakes, and choose wrongly.
I sometimes offend, even when I mean not to.
But I am beautiful and filled with love, compassion and understanding.
Because I am made in the Creator's image and likeness.
In His image and likeness I am made.

You, like me are made that way to.
Filled with love, compassion and understanding and beautiful.
Because you are made in the Creator's image and likeness.
In His image and likeness you are made.

Like me, you make mistakes to.
You choose wrongly, and offend, even when you do not mean to.

But let us be like Creator.
Let us love and respect each other.
Let us forgive and show compassion.
Let us respect the world and the people in it.

Let us show love for creation and the beauty of the world Creator made.
Let us remember that how we see each other is how we see Creator.
And since we are made in Creators image and likeness, it is how we see ourselves.

To those who have wronged me, I forgive you.
To those who have shown me no compassion, I love you.
To those that used me like a tool, I stretch out my hand to help.
To those that have injured me, I will offer comfort.

BECAUSE I am just a man.
I am imperfect and flawed.
Yet, I am made in the Creator's image and likeness.
In His image and likeness I am made.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
