    Is it Forgiveness ... Or just a bad case of low self esteem? ... You be the judge. Because .... I'm Damned if I know? :)

    Damned If I Know ...

    What in the Hell are you talking about ..
    Wasn't it you that said you were through?
    Damned if I know what you expect from me,
    Because, I really don't have a clue.

    First, you tell me that it's done and over ..
    And there's really nothing left to say.
    Damned if I know what it is that you want,
    Why must you insist on playing these games?

    In your next breath you say you love me ..
    You're sorry and that, yes, I was right. 
    "Please forgive me for my indiscretions, 
    Baby ... I really don't want to fight."

    What in the Hell do you want from me ..
    Damned if I know what I'm suppose to do ?
    How many nights must I cry myself to sleep,
    While you keep playing me as a fool?

    You told me that it was all over ..
    That you wouldn't see him anymore.
    Damned if I know how I can forgive you,
    I know I can't forget, that much is sure.

    My heart keeps telling me that I must stay ..
    But my mind says to pick up and go.
    It's an endless battle of heart and soul,
    When will it end?
    Hell .. Damned if I know?

    Wow Ken damed if i know if i should stay or go.. That is my thoughts right now. Someone is playing my heart as a violin. stringing me up and down. I keep wondering if the string will snap. Leave me broken alone in the dark. 10 from me.

    Thanks Blue! :) I am sorry that you are being treated this way. Seems to be something that happens to a lot of us unfortunately. I hope things work out for ya and remember .. YOU gotta be the one to make you happy. We are only on this rock once and it's for a short time .. so we must make the best of it.     your meter and structure is devine......it borders on sublime........if you had the chioce to pick between a women so sick and one whos fair and bold.....would you pick the one who tricks or the one who's hearts of gold?

    Thanks Len .. Im happy you enjoyed ... If you decide to venture further into my works you will find that I write both Dark and Light - I tend to lean to the dark side because I love the creativity it allows me .. anyway, before I totally bore you to tears .. lol! :) Thanks for the read and comments.     Wow....the love dance...I loved this piece...just when I think you can't surprise me...I read more of ur work..and...Bam....this is so relatable but with a comedic feel to it...I laughed and smiled all the way thru.....really nice work...
