Poem Commentary

My son Daniel is the youngest of my three kids and atrue treasure from above. What a previlege to be a mom!

Daniel

It must be said in English.

I don’t want you to miss a thing

It all abides in me

This great mountain of love

Fuzzy love, crazy love, beautiful love

And it’s all for you

For indeed I love your little eyes

And the way they hide

The boy you once were

And the man you are going to be: wonderful to me!

How special to call you mine

And to know you are really your own and all the while

We both belong to God.

It was Him who chose our destination.

Together we are mother and son…

What a marvelous connection!

And then there’s this mountain of love

which will last forever

Over the moon, under the sun,

Throughout the spacious sky.

Yes, you are still mine!
