    Dark Dating

    If we're running away,
will love still visit a stay
rather than the actions we're parading

    like the dimming of light,
or symphonic waves descending from their flight
    our love is fading

    becoming angels of the night,
with morals indulging on nothing right
    when matters of the heart,
fills the other's to be more contrite
    visually and physically,
    we fade from sight.

    Knowing valor can't fly,
we kept giving it a try
for, immortality, our souls we're trading

like an angels' vision falling into the dark
or a hearts' call of distress,
    alone, its come to embark
    our love's fading

    When lies become,
towels thrown in to stop a fight
its probably best to call it a night
seems we're holding on in spite
    as first impressions of expressions,
    fade from sight.
