Darkness

Darkness

Is a place you don’t want to be without a light
It is darker than a dark, dark night
You see and hear things that may or may not be there
How did you get there without a care?
So you start to pray God move mountains and
you make that long journey home
A journey you must make alone
God please shine a little light
The path is might tight
Then you reach it and look around
All you can do is kiss the ground
Home is where you want to stay
God please I don’t want to go astray
You look back at that long journey to get home
And how easy it was for you to go wrong
Deep down you know all the scary things down
there wanted you to stay
So they could play
But don’t go back for sure they will attack

I like it - fear and darkness is a part of everyone's life - it all depends on how you handle it
