    Poem Commentary

    Gratitude for the day that is behind me, and thankful for the day that is to come.

    Day Is Done

    DAY IS DONE

    When the day is done,

                and the time is nigh;

    I long to come undone,

                Breathe a deep sigh.

    I try to capture the day

                in my mind’s eye.

    Else, it be lost by the way;

                gone to bye and bye.

    For,

    if the day has been good,

                I add to the stock

    of the solid rock

                On which I stood.

    Very inspirational! What a way to live. And if the day has been bad what does that add? Just kidding. Nicely done...I can really relate to the spirit of the work. Write on......

    Uplifting, positive reflections on the day at hand and forward to the day to come. Not a moment in time wasted, to live enjoying the moments of time .. life is a gift to not be taken lightly.
