Destiny or Chance

Some time ago I attempted to begin and reflect
On how love happens and what I don’t seem to get

Is it because of some kind of similar attraction
Or on account of fulfilling some certain satisfaction

Is it based on situation and the cards we have in hand
Or is it more on timing like the shifting of the sand.

Every person we’ve cared for were all destined to be
Or is it that just how at the time what we wanted to see

Perhaps because that’s was the choice that we made
At the time we needed not to be alone or to be afraid

Are all people that flow through our life really for a reason
Or is it just simple occurrence as in time or the season

These things I truly want to understand more and know
Is it random or unique as the flakes that fall during a snow

Is all this happening by some reason of grand design
Or is it all just something else that passes with the time

Well these things the answers to may never be revealed
hard to believe choices are predetermined and fates sealed

It just one of the things I think about as time passes by
Maybe it is an answer of faith on which we must rely.
