Dim
The slince in your room,You've been sick for so long,
I sit by your side silently watching,
Holding your hand.
I watch as the light in your eyes dim,
Then the spark was gone,
In one single breath.
I tried so hard,
Not to break down and cry,
As the tears rolled down my face,
I try to catch my breath,
Remembering how
The light in you eyes went dim.
My breath catches in my throat,
I can't believe your really gone,
I wash your face,
I pick out your cloths,
I want you to look prefect
When you meet God today,
I wipe my eyes
As I think back to how
The light in your eyes went dim!!!
