    Distance

    The days that pass,
    with somber rain.
    Clouds the sky,
    and my pain.
    Meant to be alone,
    walk in cold.
    Meant to suffer,
    never grow old.
    To see the moon,
    and beautiful sky.
    To learn to love,
    to learn to fly.
    To be so close,
    and yet so far.
    from my home,
    and where you are.

I like the simplicity... and rhythem of this work.... great creativity..... red

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
