Divulging Secrets
It’s far easier to be honest with a blank piece of paper
Than it is with a loved one.
I can ‘say’ everything
That I’m too scared to give voice to.
I need purpose, motivation, a reason to live.
My life is spinning out of control in slow motion
And I’m not motivated enough to stop it.
I feel like a vital part of me is off in a far corner,
Huddled on the floor, crying.
I wish for endless sleep,
Or Heaven,
Or life,
But all seem unattainable.
