    Done
    I am done
    finished, obsolete

    The chains of my past
    are tightening their grip

    The whispered words of hate
    have become deafening screams

    The scars on my body
    have become too noticeable

    The bruises that faded
    are now a myriad of vivid colors

    And I no longer have the strength nor will
    to make it go away

    "The scars on my body have become too noticeable" —— this sent chills down my spine. We are only finished because we think we are. Imagine if we were to think the opposite. Just imagine it.

    LOVE IT!! it deserves a ten but it wont let me get past 7.5 sry :( oh well its a great poem. I love the line about (the chains of my past.)
