    dreamin

    Traveling thru this foreign land

    Taking each day
    dream by dream

    Pausing in darkness
    to gather myself
    to face another day

I build my strength in lonliness
and thin it thru the day

    If I could dream
    and never awake

    I'd never grow weak
    never grow old
    never grow tired
    never be cold

To see the world with my very own eyes
    as twisted and crazed thoughts
    my very own thoughts

    no right
    no wrong

    Just me as me
    not not bending down to
    comformity

    Oh, what a place
    a place untrue

    Cos, I was given life
    structure and rules

    My thoughts taken away
til the end of the day
    when i can slip away
    into my warped delusions

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
