At first, I was scared.

The boy-demon always stayed
just                 beyond              my            sight,
hovering,
waiting,
         waiting,
                   waiting,
until I was alone...
I was careful
never to let my parents know,
for fear
that they would kill him...

(Odd, considering that I didnt like him..... At first)

So I went walking
in the dark
one night,
in the desert
just               beyond          the          property...

And he appeared to me...

He wasnt tall,
but wasnt truely a boy,
with thick
dark
hair
and brown eyes that glowed
with a possesiveness
that I couldnt
truely
understand...

                                   "You've finally appeared."
I said to him,
lowering my eyes
to the ground.
... and he stayed silent,
taking hold of my hand,
to          lead         me            down          an         old             trail...

The moment we touched
I smelt sulfur,
and I coughed and he let go,
but,
with his hand,
bid me follow...

So I did...

Side by side, we walked,
til we reached
the Cracks,
deep holes in the Earth,
then he stopped
and turned to me
and said...

                                "Jump."

I looked at him
and laughed.
                                "You're kidding..."
And there was
silence again...
                                "You jump first."
I told him,
pointing to a Crack.
He held out his hand...  
                                 "Jump with me."
I hesitated...
and looked into his eyes...
took his hand...
                                 "Whats down there?"
He smiled a little.
                                  "Demons... Hell... Home..."

... I let go of his hand and ran.
Ran staight into a crowd of them...
They were there,
all
around...
How did I not see them??

All of them,
hundred,
thousands,
surrounding....
And him,
that one,
crashed through them all,
and kissed me...                 "Mine."

God, the noise of them all
as they screeched and howled!
... and all he whispered was
                                        "Mine."
And they seemed to disappear...
