    editing 'Almagest'--- i guess.

we rearrange the ceiling in the dark,
      Copernicus and I.

    drunk boats on restless waves
as a sailor aims his sextant-

    fishermen throwing hopeful nets toward
          an open sky.

in time, broken glass becomes sand

and the sun finds just the right place
    to shine.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
