     Children looking
    In dismay
    'Wadja bring me...
    What today?'

    Conquering
    Our deepest fear
    As one follows
    All too near.

    Looking onward
    Through the past
    Now is this;
    It cannot last.

    Painfully,
    It hit a chord.
    Cuttings' if it
    Was a sword.

    Bleeding through
    my heart, gone numb
    Seeing many
    Only one.

    One is when
    My effort's fail.
    Seeking, but
    To no avail.

    Seeing past
    My wit, gone bland.
    Seeing boulders
    In the sand.

    What is this?
    It cannot be.
    Seeing you
    But feeling me.
